The First Society in the Field of Music

Musical Work Owners' Society of Turkey - MESAM became a legal entity after making its application for establishment on 11.08.1986 pursuant to the relevant legislation and has been continuing its operations since 08.12.1986.

MESAM is one of the first four societies established in our country and is the first society operating in the field of musical works. MESAM continues its operations to protect the interests of the musical works owners (composers, songwriters, and arrangers) and those who have the authority to exercise financial rights, manage and follow the rights recognized under Law No. 5846, to collect the fees to be collected and to distribute such fees to the right holders.
